On July 23, 2008, thunder struck Pentrez and caused damages to the webcam.  After 11 months, it is back again. We are sorry that it took such a long time to get it back to work.  Living  7000 kms away,  does present a few challenges..... For once,  I have to rely on  skilled people  who reside close to Pentrez to get things done on my behalf. A special thank you to all those who have emailed me over the past few months to inquire about the fate of the webcam and offered their kind assistance.  In the future, considering how beloved the webcam is, we will do a better job getting  things fixed quickly, and in any case, we will keep everyone informed.
